Ogden Valley Winter Sports Foundation

I was so excited to once again have the opportunity to photograph the athletes on the Ogden Valley Ski Team.  As always, I absolutely loved working with these spirited, full of life and energy, young ski racers!  It was hard to decide which of the over 100 athlete images I would post, but here are just a handful from the FIS/JO and Devo levels.

Sometimes the sweetest images are those taken in a spontaneous moment...

While photographing my own children on Christmas Day, a friend of the family’s daughter asked if I would take a picture of her and her boys.  Seems it had been awhile since she could rally them together long enough to fire off a shot or two.

Of course I jumped at the chance, had her grab her boys, and quickly took a few pictures.  These two images were my favorite as she held her squirming little guy, and her older son snuggled in for the shot.

  

A Family That Skis Together, Stays Together!

Taking pictures of people doing what they love, or being in a place they love, is priceless.  This family loves skiing, and both children are excellent ski racers for the Ogden Valley Winter Ski Foundation.  Capturing them before a day of skiing worked out perfect!

Meet the Staff of the Copper Club!

Photographing the staff of the Copper Club was a lot of fun.  I tried to individualize each shot, yet maintain the same feel throughout the shoot.

Ogden's old historic "Berthana Building," built in 1915, is undergoing a total transformation, and I will be photographing and posting it's progress.
